UNICEF Launches $500 Million Appeal for Humanitarian Crisis in Iraq

UNICEF announced that humanitarian organizations around the world are launching a fundraiser for $500 million to address the crisis created by ISIS in Iraq. Eight million Iraqis need humanitarian aid desperately, with three million having been forced to abandon their homes since June of 2014. A lack of funding makes it difficult to provide aid.
