Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, The Philadelphia Orchestra Awarded Grants by the NEA

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)'s second major grant announcement of 2015 declared that the organization will make 1,023 awards worth over $74 million to nonprofit arts organizations. Among those organizations selected for grants are The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, of which Arch Street Press is a member. 

The largest grant in Pennsylvania has been awarded to The Philadelphia Orchestra, totaling $100,000 to support next month's production of Arnold Schoenberg's "Gurrelieder," which will be performed in the Academy of Music and Carnegie Hall.
