A dialogue with Suzie Katz, president and founder of PhotoWings, a unique nonprofit that facilitates the power of photography to influence the world. PhotoWings helps photography to be better understood, created, utilized, seen and saved. The PhotoWings Outreach Program conducts interviews with leading figures in and around photography, provides broad-based photographic education and enhances visual literacy, helping to further develop critical thinking, visual literacy skills and mentorship programs. PhotoWings works every day to help build, reinforce and utilize our photographic heritage, concentrating on socially, culturally and historically important work. Suzie has photographed in nearly 60 countries on six continents, and been honored as one of the 50 leading contemporary female photographers.
