Dallas Woodburn is a writer, editor, blogger and teacher living in the San Francisco Bay Area. A recent Steinbeck Fellow in Creative Writing at San Jose State University, her short stories and essays have appeared in numerous publications including The Nashville Review, Fourth River, North Dakota Quarterly, and The Los Angeles Times. Her short story collection was a finalist for the Flannery O'Connor Award for Short Fiction and her plays have been produced in Los Angeles and New York City. Dallas is passionate about empowering youth through reading and writing and is the founder of Write On! For Literacy.
