Carolyn Miles is President and CEO of Save the Children, an organization inspiring and facilitating breakthroughs in increasing children's access to proper nutrition, education and protection from harm around the world. Carolyn has been involved with Save the Children since 1998, taking on her current leadership role in 2011. Her steadfast advocacy for changing how the world treats children and implementing effective programs on the ground have increased available resources for the organization from $250m to nearly $700m. She found her calling in the nonprofit sector after years of experience working for the private sector and as an entrepreneur. She has served on numerous boards, including Blackbaud, InterAction, the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, Modernizing Foreign Assistance Network and the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business where Carolyn earned her MBA.
